In this crucial role you will help enable partner companies to integrate EEG sensors into their products by creating new reference designs, adapting existing designs, building prototypes, advising partners during product development, and validating hardware implementations. The ideal candidate has deep experience at an established consumer electronics company but is ready to break out into the startup environment.

What you will do:

  • Architect and prototype new hardware concepts that enable EEG sensing in new types of devices
  • Support partners as they integrate Neurable technology into their products to ensure quality and reliability
  • Validate that partner integrations meet specifications and yield high-quality EEG data and 
  • Manage agencies, contractors, and other external resources deliver the product vision 
  • Endorse the quality of all engineering product deliverables from internal and external team members. 

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • BS EE or similar degree. MS EE preferred (other degrees considered)
  • Minimum 3 years delivering consumer electronics products to market at medium to high volumes.
  • Experience working with far east/asian suppliers and Contract Manufacturers
  • Familiarity and experience with current regulatory requirements for Consumer Electronics, Wearable Devices, and devices containing rechargeable batteries.
  • Experience, exposure to, and ability to work in both Waterfall and Agile(SAFe) development environments. 
  • Capacity to work across all engineering disciplines needed to deliver consumers electronics product to market. 
  • Success working in remote collaboration environments, breaking down barriers with a globally dispersed team. 
  • Comfort with ambiguity, but driven to clarify and align direction.
  • The ability to thrive in a small organization with few established processes.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $130k-$155k salary, and equity
  • 5 day work week, with 4 days in-office, and 1 remote day
